Thank you for bringing your ID when you pick up your child early.

No school on Friday, March 14th – teacher in-service day.

No school the week of March 17th – 21st – spring break.

Hello PAPA Middle Schoolers! We have a new lunch group called the “Bamboo Buddies” that will be happening every Monday and Tuesday in Ms. Padilla’s office during middle school lunch. This is a place to eat, chat, relax, play games, and make new friends. So bring your lunch, and we may have some snacks for you as well. See you there!

The state Representatives and Legislatures will be making decisions about money allocated to their districts for capital improvements. Please take a moment to contact your representatives and ask them to consider giving to our school. Here is a link to look up who your reps are. https://www.nmlegis.gov/members/find_my_legislator

We will be enjoying lunch outside and soaking up some vitamin D! After you eat, get your blood flowing by walking, throwing a football, shooting baskets, or even dancing.  Remember, whenever the temperature is above 40°F, we’ll be eating lunch outside. Dress accordingly and make the most of the fresh air!

We are now accepting nominations for the Dayana Diaz Award. To nominate please submit the application to Ms. Lopez. Students, this is a reminder to take good care of your school issued Chromebook. This means not putting stickers on it, not drawing on it, and being careful to not close any papers, books, or notebooks inside the Chromebook when you finish class. If you put items inside the Chromebook, it may leave a black line and damage the screen. Take time to put your Chromebook away in your backpack in its case before you leave class.

Prom is on April 5th, from 7:30 to 9:30 PM at the View Event Center. Purchase tickets online today!  Prom Court applications are due this Thursday to Ms. Muniz in Room 18. You can find tickets, applications, and outside guest forms on the Prom website, linked in the high school Google Classroom and on the Student Council Instagram.  See you there!

This month we are focused on the Graduate Profile Pillars of being Confident and Purposeful.  Confidence empowers us to take risks, face challenges head-on, and overcome obstacles, even when things seem difficult. With confidence, we are not afraid to make mistakes or learn from them, knowing they are part of the journey to success. When we know our purpose, we are more focused and driven to create positive change, both for ourselves and for others.
