PAPA – Public Academy for Performing Arts

The Public Academy for Performing Arts offers a pre-college curriculum taught by highly qualified instructors. Our rigorous academic programs and graduation requirements exceed those of APS and the State of New Mexico. We have consistently met or exceeded the testing requirements for the State of New Mexico.

Small class sizes are ideal for student learning and average a teacher to pupil ratio of 1-to-18. We encourage parental input and are responsive to individual student needs.

Whether our students move on to careers in performing arts, or take a more traditional path, their education from the Public Academy for Performing Arts will prepare them for any avenue they desire. Our goal is to equip, encourage, and enable students to succeed.

Many students also have elected to take college courses at The University of New Mexico and technical classes at CNM.
